When we first moved in, the grounds had been neglected for years and years and were overgrown by brambles and weeds; even some of the fruit trees had literally disappeared under wild running brambles... That's why, after nearly 2 years of daily hard work, we are quite proud of all the efforts we have put into restauring these grounds to a somewhat 'more civilized' appearence. It is far from being the landscaped garden we would like it to be, but somehow, we like the way it naturally fades into the neighbouring countryside.
